Omnipod Dash Pods, for the Omnipod Dash System Omnipod Dash Pods are a revolutionary new design for the Omnipod Dash System, providing a low-profile design and waterproof up to 25 feet for 60 minutes. Each pod comes with an easy push button application for a wireless connection to the Omnipod Dash PDM. The Dash Pods provide the user with discreet, reliable, and wearable insulin delivery and work around the clock to provide the user with the time they need to manage their diabetes. With the new design, Dash Pods provide the user with the freedom and confidence to live their life as they please. Omnipod Dash Replacement Pods can be placed anywhere a standard insulin injection might be administered: the abdomen, leg, upper thigh, lower back, back of the arm, etc. The pod should be pressed flat and even against the skin. Once the pod has properly adhered to the injection site, the PDM will prompt to begin insertion. A needle will pierce the skin and leave behind a cannula that will allow insulin to be administered. The pod will also monitor blood sugar levels. The actual insertion takes 1/200 of a second and is virtually pain-free.
