Description

Mepitac is highly conformable and easy to apply and remove. The Safetac® Technology layer allows secure fixation and atraumatic removal from skin and hair.1 If inspection or repositioning is necessary, Mepitac can be lifted and re-applied. It is an ideal fixation solution for patients with fragile and sensitive skin or with allergies to traditional adhesives. Mepitac is suitable for patients requiring repeated application and removal of tape over the same area (e.g., neonates and dialysis patients).

Mepitac is intended for the fixation of medical devices such as drains, tubes, probes, electrodes, IV cannula, and dressings. Mepitac offers gentle skin protection when used under devices such as tubes.
