Indications

IODOSORB is indicated for exuding wounds that are colonized or infected, and contain slough or debris including venous stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, traumatic wounds and dehisced surgical wounds.

Description

IODOSORB Cadexomer Iodine Gel is designed with cadexomer beads that absorb slough, soft necrotic tissue and exudate. As the bead absorbs fluid, the broad spectrum antimicrobial activity of 0.9% iodine is released for up to 72 hours. IODOSORB has been shown to prevent and disrupt mature biofilm in vitro.
